I always ask my self this question? Do I want what my parents have or the same they have.
My dream is to be someone in the future and to able to work for myself and also to acomplish my dreams.
What I have learned is that no matter where I go or turn to, there is always negative people around me trying to stop me to accomplish my dreams, but I don't let them get to me... I just keep going. I never let people ask me to joing in ther gang or ask me to use drugs or to smoke.
I learned from people around me like my cousin... a 17 years old that got shoot by a gange. We got the call telling us that, we went right away to the hospital and the doctors told us that he won't be able to walk for his rest of his life.
When he found out he became very depress. He didn't want to do anything, he didn't eat or wanna come out his room at all. He just locked himself in and never came out.

Who tells us our future? Who tells us what you or even me will be like in the future? It's scary not knowing if you are going to be okay and that there are so many things that can hold you back in life.
I'm scared that I won't make it in the future but as soon as I catch myself thinking that way, I simply say to myself "you are unique, smart, outgoing, and your going to make it into this scary place we call the future!"
Us teenagers and kids are the future and we will determine what goes and what doesn't. My future might not be planed out but my plan is the future.
